A qualified clinical hypnotist will help unravel the challenges you face, delving right down to the cognitive distortions that cause our perceptual mistakes. Important to remember is that these distortions are not disorders. They don’t necessarily require medication. Instead, they can often be fixed via a process. A process through which I can guide you. HOW DOES HYPNOTHERAPY WORK?Hypnotherapy uses certain brainwaves of the waking state to effectively pinpoint your problem, whether it be anxiety, sleep issues, addictions, phobias, pain management, for example, and it uses this unconscious state to shift that problem. These unconscious problems have been learned, so, through hypnotherapy, you’ll simply be unlearning them.

WHAT DOES BEING HYPNOTISED FEEL LIKE?When under hypnosis, you might feel euphoric, like you’re flying. You’ll still be able to hear me, but you may feel like you’re far away. For many, it’s a pleasant experience, like being in the middle of a nice dream. For others, however, it may feel like you’ve simply closed your eyes and are listening to me speak. Everyone’s experience is different, which is okay, as different experiences work for different people. Importantly, you are always in control of your experience. Afterwards, you may feel like nothing much has changed. But as time passes, if you embrace the process, then things will start to change. And this will feel obvious at that time, as you experience those positive changes. WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY INITIAL CONSULTATION?There is no official preparation for my initial consultations, but I do advise that you arrive 15 minutes early to avoid a potential rise in stress or panic over parking or traffic. You can then use the 15 minutes to take some deep breaths to get into a calmer state of mind. To do this, Breath in... Count to three... Then breath out slowly like you’re gently blowing out a candle.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP CONSULTATIONS?Yes! Group consultations are a great way to learn more about hypnotherapy in a group setting. These sessions consist of a short discussion where nothing personal is discussed. They are suited to people who can’t make an in-person session, or who are not ready for a one-on-one.
